CAVITEX Operator Offers Assistance To Motorists This Lenten Break
The operator of Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) has set up road assistance teams for motorists plying the Cavite-Manila highway in anticipation of the huge volume of vehicles passing through this Holy Week.
Aldo Barrios, operation manager of PEA Tollways Corp., said they will put an emergency quick response team on standby 24/7 at the tollways with free towing and free mechanical check-ups in case of vehicle malfunction, as well as additional express lanes for more efficient flow of traffic.
In addition, Andrew Deyto, president and general manager of PEA Tollway, directed the operations team to expedite necessary road maintenance and improvement activities such as the installation of informational and directional signs, reflectorized pavement markings, and added safety and security features for safer and more convenient travel.
“We would like to give an enjoyable experience to motorists who will use CAVITEX,” Deyto said.
